           BEHIND THE LENS

​In the late 60's my passion for photography was ignited with my very first camera, a 120 Diana.

I shot my first wedding in the mid 1980's and I've been shooting ever since!

I've seen the transformation of the industry from medium format to 35mm and from film to digital. Like the typical Aussie that I am, I've traveled far and wide from my home Down Under to find a home on Vancouver Island with my very lovely Canadian wife and our "Canstralian" son.

My love of photography has produced four published books , hundreds of weddings, and commissioned pieces from the oil and gas sector, marine and travel industry.

I'm also the owner of Beacon Sign and Apparel in Sidney.

As a versatile and creative photographer, my wedding style is a hybrid of timeless and romantic portraiture and the more casual style of today.
